The Ordinary Salicylic Acid Masque

The New Ordinary Masque

The Salicylic Acid 2% Masque

This was due to be released in May but unfortunately it was postponed until June 12th (hopefully). This has been the latest teaser, The Ordinary Salicylic Acid 2% Masque the late Brandon Truaxe talked about in one of his videos last year along with other masques and cleansers they’re bringing out.

In the video, Brandon Truaxe says that Salicylic Acid is one of his favourite acids as it really goes into the pores. He applied it to cleansed skin, massaged it in and says you can leave it for up to 10 minutes. You can see the original video here.

I still can´t believe he’s no longer with us. For anyone totally new to Deciem and doesn´t know about BT, Brandon Truaxe was the founder of Deciem who sadly died in January this year.

Other masques and cleansers that we might see in the future are a 10% Salicylic Acid and a 10% Azelaic Acid Solution Cleanser.

You can read all about the Salicylic Acid Masque here and the reviews from our Moderators Nia who was sent one of the first samples to try.

Other Deciem Masques

Other Deciem masks you might be interested in are the NIOD SS Sanskrit Saponins which is a cleanser but you can use as a mask too, the NIOD FM Flavanone Mud Masque and also The Ordinary AHA 30% Peeling Solution.

The Flavanone Mud masque is certainly one of my favourites and I have the small jar which lasts for ages. There is a bigger tube which is better value for money but my only concern would be that you wouldn’t be able to finish it within the recommended opening time of 6 months.
