About The Ordinary Black Friday 2023
In previous years, The Ordinary Black Friday Sale has been 23% off everything, including The Ordinary big sister brand, NIOD. The Ordinary Sale started on the 1st of November and ended on the 30th of November. The last Friday of November is Black Friday; on this day, the website and stores are closed, and if Black Friday 2023 is the same as 2022, you cannot purchase for 24 hours.

What not to stock up on this Black Friday
PAO Period After Opening – The Ordinary
Before buying, it’s a good idea to check the PAO period after opening. Some products like retinol/retinoid only have 3 months and must be refrigerated. This is a pain in the backside for me as I keep forgetting it’s there. Some products have 6 months, some have 12 months, and some have expiry dates.
Copper Peptides
In my personal opinion, I don’t think it’s a good idea to stock up on too many Copper Peptide products unless you are going to use them straight away or within a few months. Don´t hold on for 6 months a year. I find they lose their beautiful blue colour if stored for too long. However, there is 50% off NIOD CAIS & CAIL.
Acids
I love some of the acids, but don’t buy too many unless you are sure you will use them. They have a lot of conflicts and can make it challenging to use other products. Remember that you can only use 1 acid in a routine.
Direct Vitamin C
These have a lot of conflicts, so be sure you can use them with your current products. I would go for a derivative, Tetraisolpamitate or Ascorbyl Glucoside, which only has 2 conflicts: Niacinamide and Soothing & Barrier Support Serum.
