The Ordinary Milky Toner Saccharomyces Ferment 30% – Exfoliator & Hydrator

The Brand New The Ordinary Milky Toner is here! As promised, 7th May 9am EST

On May the 3rd, The Ordinary teased us about a brand new product launching on the 7th May. They said it began with “S” and was “Milky”. Everyone thought it was an SPF, but it is The Ordinary Milky Toner!

Your quick 15-Second Guide To Saccharomyces Ferment 30% Milky Toner

  • A gentle exfoliating toner that promotes smoother, brighter skin while boosting hydration. Suitable for sensitive skin.
  • Targets Uneven Skin Tone, Dryness, Texture
  • Milky Toner is good for all skin types.
  • Texture: Emulsion. This is very milky.
  • You can use this in the morning and evening.
  • Start by cleansing your skin, then apply a few drops to your face and neck using your fingers or cotton pad. Then, follow on with your skincare routine. I have been using my hands as the cotton pad absorbs it all.
  • There are no conflicts, which is great; however, in the FAQS, The Ordinary does say to be mindful of using other exfoliants.
  • The main ingredients are Saccharomyces Ferment, Squalane.
  • The size of the Milky Toner is 100ml
  • The period after opening is 12 months.
  • Price: 14US$, 16.40CAD$ Check the price in your currency here

This is a gentle exfoliating toner with yeast ferment technology!

I was very lucky to receive this in November 2023, when I had the amazing opportunity to visit The Ordinary HQ in Toronto.

This is a milky colour and very, very light in texture. There is a slight smell to it, but nothing too overpowering. I tried applying it to a cotton pad, but it absorbs instantly, so I have just been applying it to the palms of my hands and applying it to my face. It feels really nice on the skin, hydrating and soothing. I´ve had no breakouts or anything nasty happening, which is great. I must admit, I haven´t been consistent, so I can´t really see any difference at the moment, but I will do my best to be more consistent from today!

Tomorrow, we will have all the details of size, ingredients, how to use it, when to use it and most importantly, price.

Stay tuned!

The Ordinary says that NAAP uses fermentation bio-derivatives and peptides to encourage visible radiance and reduce the look of textural irregularities without the need to build up skin tolerance. NAAP formulation contains ingredients that are precursors to acids naturally found within the skin. The Milky toner uses a NAG containing Saccharomyces ferment in combination with squalane as a supporting ingredient to offer gentle and hydrating exfoliation.

Can The Milky Toner be used with Glycolic Acid? The Ordinary says that you can, but it would be better to use separately and be mindful of how many exfoliants you are using and within the same regimen.
