Reviews of The Ordinary Lash & Brow Serum

It seems the world of skincare and beauty has been sent this product on Instagram but there are very few before and after photos and just lots of photos of the product. This is this something I´ve not seen from Deciem before as they normally only send to a select few Instagrammers/Vloggers.

The current reviews on the Deciem website are really mixed. Some people say how amazing it is (but no photos), and others say it hasn´t done a thing (after just a few days of use). In fairness, The Ordinary says this should be used twice daily for 8 weeks, but you may start seeing a difference after 4 weeks.

The Ordinary Lash & Brow After

These are my photos are after using The Ordinary Lash & Brow Serum for 4 weeks. I´ll update in 4 weeks time as The Ordinary recommends using it for 8 weeks.

It is so hard to take the same photo in the same light. I have used lash curlers both times to try and show the lash length as clear as possible. In my opinion, I think the bottom photos look better than the top ones, but then again I could have curled them slightly closer to the root which is why they look longer, or it could be a very slightly different angle. I´ll be back in 4 weeks with another update and leave this with you to decide if you can see a difference.

The Brows

I wasn´t going to show the brows because I have plucked them and when it comes to brows less is more – they look thicker when tidy. What I will say is that I am definitely using less product when filling them in with a pencil or powder, and I am pretty happy with my brows at the moment. What do you think?

Some lash & brow tips!

Eyelash Curlers

Eyelash Curlers – I have tried numerous lash curlers, and Shiseido Lash Curlers are the best I have ever used.

Soap Brows

Soap Brows – I saw this on YouTube, and it´s great for a stronger eyebrow look when going out. You can also get an idea if micro-blading is for you as you create a really strong look using soap.

Microblading

Microblading – I had microblading to balance out my very wonky brows, and I personally regret it. In the end, it cost me more to remove it with laser than the actual procedure, so think carefully before having anything permanent done. I would highly suggest finding a good eyebrow specialist to see what they can do with just shaping and tinting before doing anything permanent.

For those with very few to no brows at all, micro-blading and eyebrow powdering are amazing procedures. But if like me, you want to try and even out very wonky brows by removing the lower part of your brows and micro-blading above, remember the hair will continue to grow and will need removing, otherwise you end up with 2 tails and brows an inch thick!
