The New Eye Serum Conflicts
The Ordinary´s response when I asked them about conflicts. The Ordinary Multi-Peptide Eye Serum is formulated for use around the eye area; as such, there are no product conflicts. However, it should be noted that this product contains peptides and, if used on other areas of the face, is susceptible to degradation when used alongside direct acids, Direct & Ethylated Vitamin C, and Resveratrol + Ferulic Acid!

The Ordinary answered We’re so happy you love it! Thank you for your feedback about the size and price of this product ❤ The Ordinary Multi-Peptide Eye Serum is formulated for use around the eye area; as such, there are no product conflicts. How does this new Multi-Peptide eye serum compare to NIOD FECC? NIOD FECC and The Ordinary Multi-Peptide Eye Serum target puffiness, dark circles, and multiple signs of ageing around the eyes. However, FECC is formulated alongside advanced delivery systems and a wider variety of peptides, allowing it to further target the looks of crow’s feet, under-eye lines and wrinkles, and loss of elasticity.
Why is this new The Ordinary Eye Serum such a high price? This formula comes at a higher price point than many other products due to the high concentration of actives required to address multiple eye area concerns at once. However, a little does go a long way to target multiple signs of ageing, puffiness and dark circles. To target puffiness and dark circles specifically, you may want to explore our Caffeine Solution 5% + EGCG.
Can I use Multi-Peptide Eye serum on top of the Buffet + Copper Peptides? You can use both if you wish
More FAQs about The Ordinary Eye Serum
Could I use this product with the Caffeine solution? Yes, it can. Apply this product first.
Could you use this with NIOD FECC? Yes, you can. Both are similar in texture, so apply either first.
What is the difference between this product and the Caffeine Solution? Caffeine Solution 5% + EGCG does not target signs of ageing.
How does the Multi-Peptide Eye serum compare to Hylamide Sub Q Eyes? Hylamide SubQ Eyes was formulated in 2015. Rather than directly matching SubQ Eyes’ ingredient list, we have learned from its success—borrowing some of its most effective ingredients and combining them alongside new technologies in The Ordinary’s Multi-Peptide Eye Serum. This new formulation includes acetyl tetrapeptide-5 bio-technologies such as n-acetyl glucosamine (NAG) and a combination of niacinamide and ash bark extract. These work synergistically to address common eye concerns, such as puffiness, dark circles, and crow’s feet.
How different is this from the Multi-Peptide Serum + HA (Buffet)? The Ordinary Multi-peptide Eye Serum contains a blend of peptides specifically targeting the signs of ageing around the eye area, such as lines and wrinkles. While our other peptides, such as Multi-Peptide + HA, Argireline, and Matrixyl, can be used around the eyes, they were not explicitly formulated for the eye area and do not have the capacity to reduce the look of puffiness and dark circles!
