Is The Ordinary Aloe 2% better for redness than Azelaic acid? This can depend on your skin type as everyone’s skin is unique. However, this formulation contains aloe, n-acetylglucosamine (NAG) and a skin-identical peptide, which work together to not only improve the look and feel of uneven skin tone and texture but also to support the skin barrier, and improve the appearance of pores and skin redness.

Does The Ordinary Aloe 2% work on redness from non-acne scars?  It can also help to support the skin barrier and improve the appearance of pores and skin redness.

Can The Ordinary Aloe 2% + NAG be used during Pregnancy? We don’t test our products on people who are pregnant/nursing. As such, we cannot provide any confirmation on that aspect. It is best to consult your physician in advance before use just to be on the safe side.

What’s the difference between The Ordinary Niacinamide and Aloe 2%? This product also targets the look of redness and post-acne marks that leave red or brown pigmentation.

Does Aloe 2% work to soothe Rosacea? None of our products are considered medical treatments for Rosacea, but they can help to target skin redness. 

How does this interact with retinol?  It can be used with Retinol!

Can this be used after Copper Peptide and EUK 134? Yes, it can be used with either serum

When applied topically, it has been shown to effectively target uneven skin tone whilst supporting skin hydration. 

There is a bad preservative phenoxyethanol in the composition! We use phenoxyethanol in this formula because product preservation is extremely important for human health. Phenoxyethanol is an ingredient that naturally occurs in green tea and is used to prevent other ingredients from breaking down in cosmetic formulas. At this level, phenoxyethanol is considered safe for topical use in cosmetics.
