Is NIOD being discontinued?
Is NIOD being discontinued? It´s not being discontinued I am pleased to say, but in the Facebook Group, there have been some concerns, mainly due to some products being out of stock for so long, like NIOD SS, Sanskrit Saponins and MM Mastic Must. Mastic Must has completely disappeared from the website, whilst NIOD Sanskrit Saponins has been out of stock for quite a while.
Which NIOD Products are leaving?
At the time of writing this, the products that say “LEAVING SOON” are;
- NIOD LVCE Low Viscosity Cleaning Ester
- NIOD ELAN Ethylated L´Ascorbic Acid Network
- NIOD RE: Re: Pigment
New Innovations By NIOD
NIOD is really good at really looking at their products, and I feel it´s very brave to say goodbye to some well-loved products to make room for new products. Don´t get me wrong, I am devastated that NIOD LVCE, because it´s been a constant in my life since 2017 but it looks like maybe something new is coming (see below). My only concern is that the sizes of these new products seem quite a lot smaller.
NIOD SDEM
This year, for the first time in 3 years, NIOD launched SDEM, Superoxide Dismutase 3 Enzyme Mist, which is a protective antioxidant face mist. This product says that it prevents visible skin damage before it occurs, with SOD3 technology. This is available in 2 sizes, 50ml and 120ml. Learn more about NIOD SDEM here.
New NIOD Product Launching 4th November 2025
I spotted this last night on Instagram. With NIOD LVCE leaving us, it looks like this is taking its place. It seems a lot smaller than our NIOD LVCE, so I do hope it´s of the same value, if not better. NIOD LVCE may have seemed like a lot of money, but it was 240ml and lasted for a considerable amount of time. A tiny amount went a long way, and it is a fantastic makeup remover.
