The Ordinary Moisturizers Review – Which One Should I Use? Which one is the best?

  • The Ordinary Natural Moisturizing Factors + HA
  • The Ordinary Natural Moisturizing Factors + Phytoceramides
  • The Ordinary Natural Moisturizing Factors + Beta Glucan

Does The Ordinary have a good moisturiser?

The Ordinary doesn´t have one good moisturizer. They have THREE!

  • The Ordinary Natural Moisturizing Factors + HA – This is the original moisturizer that I have used for 6 years! It is rich and creamy, and I never thought I would use another moisturizer, but I do! I love the NMF + PhytoCeramides and sometimes use the Beta-Glucan.
  • The Ordinary Natural Moisturizing Factors + Beta Glucan – This is a lightweight clear gel moisturizer and perfect for summer months and oily skin. I used the original moisturizer for years. Then I fell in love with PhytoCeramides but I am also using this, especially on warm days. My husband also loves this because it is clear and easy to apply with a beard.

What Type of Skin is The Ordinary Moisturizer For?

There is a moisturizer for everyone and all skin types.

  • Natural Moisturizing Factors + HA is great for non-greasy hydration and suitable for anyone!⁣. If you have tried this and prefer a lighter moisturiser, go for Beta Glucan. If you didn´t find this hydrating enough, go for PhytoCeramides.
  • The Natural Moisturizing Factors + PhytoCeramides offers a thicker option for more dry skin.⁣ This leaves skin looking dewy. I love all 3, but this is my favourite. If you find this too rich, try the original Natural Moisturizing Factors + HA.
  • Natural Moisturizing Factors + Beta Glucan keeps things light with lasting hydration and would be great for oily skin.⁣

Is The Ordinary Moisturiser For Morning or Night?

You can use The Ordinary Moisturizer in the morning and/or evening—use it whenever you wish!

Which of The Ordinary Moisturizers would be best for Oily Skin?

The Ordinary Natural Moisturizing Factors + Beta Glucan is a clear gel moisturizer, and The Ordinary has been recommending this one to people with oily skin.

Which of The Ordinary Moisturizers would be good for dry skin?

You could choose any of the 3 moisturizers. If you have a store near you that sells The Ordinary, I would pop in and try them all. The Ordinary Natural Moisturizing Factors + PhytoCeramides is super hydrating and absorbs beautifully, leaving my skin looking amazing. I love it, but then I love my skin looking dewy which this product does. If you don´t like that dewy or shiny look, you may be better with the original Moisturiser + HA or Beta Glucan.

Can I mix other products into these moisturisers?

Yes, you can. Here are some great combinations of The Ordinary products you should mix.

How often should I use The Ordinary moisturiser?

You can use these Ordinary moisturizers every day, morning and evening. Always patch test first and see how your skin is. I have very sensitive skin and can use all 3 with no problems at all.

Are The Ordinary moisturizers good at night?

Yes! They are great!

What size are The Ordinary moisturizers?

Natural Moisturizing Factors + HA comes in 30ml & 100ml. The other 2 come in 100ml.

Prices of the moisturisers by The Ordinary

Natural Moisturizing Factors + HA and Beta Glucan are around the same price. The NMF + PhytoCeramides is quite a bit more, but don´t let that put you off if you are looking for something lovely, rich, and super hydrating!
